Australian retail lamb prices trend 2016

Using a yield weighted retail lamb price and the published Woolworth's catalogue gives a variable trend but values seem to have settled around $11.50 per kg on a weekly basis and producers share of the retail lamb dollar have headed up to around mid 60s percentage compared to 55% earlier in the year. Retailers are pushing weekly specials and there is now regular media interest in retail meat prices and retail and supermarket competition to retain market share.
